Mustafa Kemal Atatürk gifted this day to all the children around the world. Every year in April children from other countries come to Turkey and celebrate 23rd April. This day is celebrated with enthusiasm at every part of the country. For the importance of April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children’s Day Mustafa Kemal Atatürk said that: “Children are the future of our nation and a source of joy and merriness. It is our duty to raise children with the awareness that today’s children are the future’s adults .”Undoubtedly, children are the building blocks of a nation. Giving importance to children is very important both for themselves and for the future of the country and the world. Highly aware of this situation, the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk declared April 23 as children’s fest.
