Like many traditions, the Easter Bunny is a symbol for spring and, eventually, Easter. Rabbits are associated with fertility, they give birth in the spring so the fields are full of baby bunnies.
The Easter Bunny has become a prominent symbol of Christianity's most important holiday.
According to some sources the Easter Bunny first appeared in America in the 1700s. It was brought by the German immigrants who settled in Pensylvania and took this tradition with them. later, this custom spread across the United States and the fabled rabbit's Easter morning expanded to include chocolate and other types of candy.
