Easter traditions

Mrs Lent is a lady with no mouth and 7 legs, symbolising the 7 weeks of lent before Easter. Every child has one at home and they cut one leg every Monday for 7 weeks before Easter Sunday.

I read to my 2nd class students the book "I see Spring" by Charles Ghigna and my students drew their own "I see Spring" pictures. Then, we had fun making spring headbands!
